With a multi-million-dollar upgrade to its water treatment plant already underway, the staff at Curran-Gardner Township Public Water District knew they still had one more important upgrade to make! The District's old website was becoming difficult to maintain and it lacked the usability that visitors expect. Having already worked with the LRS Web Solutions team for website hosting and the creation of an online payment portal, the District knew they had a very capable web partner in LRS.
As with every site build, the project began with requirements gathering. The District's two greatest needs were made clear from the beginning: they needed a fresh and updated web presence and they needed an effective content management system. Due to budget considerations, it was decided in advance that the new site would utilize a pre-designed, mobile-friendly theme. LRS worked with the stakeholders at Curran-Gardner to select a responsive theme/template while also choosing colors, fonts and imagery to give the site a look and feel that was unique to the District.
