The Story of Statement Connect

Illinois counties have to submit a Statement of Economic Interest every year. In the past, it had been a tedious, cumbersome paper-heavy process. One county sought a better way and asked LRS Web Solutions for help. We created an online solution that easily lets county employees easily send reminders for users to submit the statements and can check to see if they have been submitted.

The users can create accounts and complete the economic statement in just minutes. Both parties receive a confirmation after submission.

The solution is quickly gaining traction since it launched in early 2025. By late 2025, more than nearly 20% of Illinois counties are using Statement Connect.
